What started as a simple idea and a single truck has grown into one of the most trusted portable restroom providers in New England. Spotting a Royal Opportunity in New England

In the early 2000s, Steve Brodeur and Mike Cormier, co-founders of The Throne Depot, were working in other industries when they noticed something surprising. That portable restroom service in Massachusetts didn’t really exist.

“There was no money to borrow during the crash, so we bought 100 used toilets from Maine and just kept going, Steve said.”

“Mike and I didn’t take a salary for the first five years. We put everything back into the company,” said Steve.

That dedication paid off. By 2010, the company had grown to three trucks and around 600 restrooms.
